Am 30.10. treffen sich Angela Merkel und andere deutsche Regierungsmitglieder, Banken und Wirtschaftslobbyisten mit 11 afrikanischen Präsidenten, um neue Wege zur weiteren Ausbeutung Afrikas fest zu legen.
Angeblich will die Bundesregierung mit ihrer neoliberalen Afrikapolitik „Fluchtursachen bekämpfen“. Tatsächlich geht es um Profit: Neue Märkte für deutsche Firmen und für Investoren sollen erschlossen werden und bestehende Absatzmärkte, z. B. für die Agrarindustrie und für Waffen und Grenztechnologien erhalten bleiben und ausgeweitet werden. Gleichzeit werden afrikanische Regierungen erpresst, Freihandelsabkommen abzuschließen.
Diese Wirtschaftspolitik hilft den Menschen in Afrika nicht. Zumal international vereinbarte Umweltstandards und menschenrechtliche Verpflichtungen in den Compacts kein Thema sind. Im Gegenteil: Die Compacts für Afrika helfen nur den korrupten Konzernen reicher Industriestaaten und afrikanischen Wirtschaftseliten. Die meisten der eingeladenen afrikanischen Regierungen, die Bundesregierung nennt sie freundlich „Reform-Champions“, sind Diktaturen, die sich mit massiven Menschenrechtsverletzungen an der Macht halten.
Das macht uns wütend! Das werden wir vor dem Tagungsort der „G 20 Investment Summit“ deutlich machen.

Manifestation contre le „G 20 Investment Summit“ le 30 octobre 2018 à Pariser Platz
Angela Merkel et d’autres membres du gouvernement allemand, des banques et des lobbyistes économiques rencontrent 11 présidents africains pour définir de nouveaux moyens d’exploiter davantage l’Afrique.
Le gouvernement fédéral veut prétendument „combattre les causes de la fuite“(Causes de la migration) avec sa politique néo-libérale pour l’Afrique. En fait, il s’agit d’une question de profit : il s’agit d’ouvrir de nouveaux marchés pour les entreprises et les investisseurs allemands et de maintenir et d’étendre les marchés de vente existants, par exemple pour l’industrie agricole, les armes et les technologies aux frontières. En même temps, en fesant chanter les gouvernements africains pour qu’ils concluent des accords de libre-échange.
Cette politique économique n’aide pas les Africains. D’autant plus que les normes environnementales et les obligations en matière de droits de l’homme convenues au niveau international ne sont pas un problème dans les pactes. Au contraire, les pactes pour l’Afrique n’aident que les entreprises corrompues des pays industriels riches et les élites économiques africaines. La plupart des ces gouvernements africains invités, que le gouvernement allemand qualifie gentiment de „champions de la réforme“, sont des dictatures qui maintiennent au pouvoir des violations massives des droits humains.
Ça nous met en colère !
Nous l’indiquerons clairement avant la tenue du „G 20 Investment Summit“.

NO to Compact with Africa!
Demonstration against the „G20 Investment Summit“ on 30 October 2018 at Pariser Platz
Angela Merkel and other German government officials, banks and business lobbyists meet with 10 African presidents to define new ways to further exploit Africa. Allegedly, the German government wants to „fight the causes of flight“ with its neo-liberal Africa policy. The real goal is to make profits: new markets for German companies and investors are to be opened up and existing ones, e.g. for the agricultural industry and for weapons and border technologies, maintained and expanded. At the same time, African governments are being extorted to sign free trade agreements.
This economic policy does not help the people in Africa. Also since internationally agreed environmental standards and human rights obligations are not an issue in these „Compacts“. On the contrary, the Compact with Africa only helps the corrupt corporations of rich industrialized countries and African business elites. Most of the invited African governments, the German government kindly calls them „reform champions“, are dictatorships that are kept in power with massive human rights violations.
That makes us angry! We will make this clear in front of the venue of the „G20 Investment Summit“.
